This weekend and today have been extraordinarily productive....and I can't help but wonder...if this isn't nesting, what is?
Both Michael and I have felt this consistent need to really keep things ship-shape around here. Michael, being the most perfect husband that he is has really gotten the cleaning bug. I tell you, I can't even put a single spoon in the sink without him, moments later, swooping in and cleaning it for me! He's been doing the dishes after meals (he has done that throughout our marriage, but this time with a rigor like I've never seen!) cleaning the kitchen, organizing the front room....wow! I'm SO spoiled.
Again, this isn't to say that he hadn't been doing this throughout our marriage, because he really has always been so helpful, but day after day, I wake up to find things neater than even the day before!
Baby Michael and I have been doing our fair share of chores too. In a compulsive shopping trip, I got stocked up on essentials like soap and shampoos and other cleaning supplies...then scrubbed the bathroom, washed my car and am now in the process of cleaning every last thread of laundry that can possibly be cleaned and vacuuming. All in about a 2 day period of time!
I must be nesting, right? I mean, thanks to Marita and Noree' who came down a few weeks ago and helped me organize Baby Michael's things, that has been done for a long time, so I can't really "nest" with his things....what else is there do to nest other than this?
If this is the case, maybe it's true that Michael's arrival is more immediate than not! We can hope!

Well if your nesting or cleaning or whatever you want to call it, get's Baby Michael here sooner, keep on, keepin' on. :-)
I'm glad to hear Big Michael is helping you too. :-) You guys make a good team. ♥
It looks like HIS plan is working perfectly. We are so excited for you and Michael. It is hard to believe in only a few more weeks you will have that bundle of joy in your arms.
Dad and I are packed and ready to go. It feels like we are nesting for you over here also. All is well caught up and ready to take off to San Diego in a calls notice.
Enjoy these next few weeks, I'm sure they will be filled with anticipation and excitement.
Hooray for nesting! I think it's a good sign of soon-to-be labor, but even if baby Michael takes a bit longer to arrive, you can enjoy your clean and tidy apartment (which does look awesome, by the way!). I always feel a huge sense of relief when I've done a bunch of cleaning -- like I can handle a ton of unexpected guests (not like we have that many, but still...) because the bathrooms are tidy and the dishes are done. I hope your clean house brings some comfort to you also in these last weeks!
