Fortunately, nothing too new to report, since in this stage, "new" typically means drama, and I'm thankful for low drama!
Baby Michael is at 35 weeks, which is great!! What a far cry from 10 weeks ago when I was just thankful he made it to 27 and 28, and so on. Now that he's 35 weeks, I'm pretty much on the "Baby, you can come any time you want!" and he would be pretty healthy...although at least 37 weeks is still ideal.
We had a great baby ultrasound a few weeks ago...here's a picture:
Our chubby little boy is such a cutie! In the video, I definitely saw a lot of essence of Michael....which is really great because I think Michael is the most handsome ever :)
We had a fun day getting our ultrasound, with both sets of our parents able to enjoy (Actually it was a Mother's Day present for both our moms) and also Michael's sisters. It was way fun to have everyone there and then go out to lunch together.
My doctor visits have been going really well, although I'm pretty depressed about the weight gain issue. I am trying SO hard to eat well, but I just keep exceeding the weight the doctor wants me to gain. Basically, he wants me to keep it under 5 more pounds of weight gain until the baby comes...yikes! That's not that much considering I've gained 5 pounds in the past 3 weeks. Oh well...so what if I go a few pounds over that...I know why he is advising it, primarily so I have a higher chances of haivng a smaller baby...but still. It's hard! I'm always so hungry!!
So things are going really great. I'm feeling really well (a little swelling and some backaches and hunger aside). Michael is taking great care of me and we are, little by little, getting everything ready for our little guy! We can't wait!!!

It was a wonderful day. Baby Michael is a real cutie. It was most awesome seeing a face to the precious Michael we have been talking to and praying for. Lunch was a very nice time of sharing and catching up on news and "being". I feel a great time was had by all.
