A few nights ago, little Michael seemed to get really bugged with me!! I laid down to go to bed and gave me two really solid double-footed kicks! I was so startled!! I think because I was laying on my right side, and that's where his head was, he wasn't too keen on being on his head...but I tell you, this little kid is developing some strength in those legs.
Today, little Michael seemed to be in a playful mood. He kept kicking me (way up high, near by ribs!) so I gave him a few pokes and tried to have my hand where he was kicking. So he kicked again, and I would poke at him, trying to touch his foot, and again he would respond. This kept up for about 10 minutes. I know he can't see much in there, and maybe he was just squirming and had no idea what I was doing, but it really felt like he was playing and responding to me.
Now if only I could get him to do that for other people!

I'm sure as you watch Jack and Thomas, you have an idea of what could be around the corner for you and Michael. Just know it is only going to get better as your family continues to grow.

That's so cool that he was playing with you!! I know, it's so funny to feel like there's a crazy dance party going on inside, and when you get someone to put their hand on your tummy so they can feel it too, the baby stops and won't repeat his antics! It's like he can sense that there's someone else that wants to feel it, and he decides to be still just to be stubbon. I know tiny babies aren't supposed to be that willful yet, but it's happened way more times than I can count in each pregnancies, so I think there's something to it. Feisty little guys!

Kathy, I totally agree with you. It's like he knows when someone is watching and he goes into stealth mode. What a stinker!
That's so neat. I think it's so great how you and your sister can share stories. I'm sure the two of you really enjoy it and I'm enjoying watching it. :)
