As his hair density grows, so does his confidence!
Then by January, his hair actually was comb-able.
This turned from merely-combable, to full fledged toupee-likeness!
I mean look at that rug on that kid! It almost looks fake!
Then one day, the straight toupee' style started to get a little "body" to it. It started to get a little wave (even though the sides stayed pretty short).
But what started out as a well-groomed style on the sides, started to itself grow out of control. Little "wings" on the sides started to develop. Peter, here, thinks to himself "I told him so" when his advice to Michael to switch to a non-store brand conditioner went unheeded. Michael is clearly a bit embarrassed.
Within days, the curls on the side were out of control, but Michael seemed to be growing content with it.
Who, after all, wouldn't be proud to display such an impressive mop top at such a tender age?
And so here we stand today, not many months after his receding hairline days, with curls that keep curling more and more each day....
Or maybe even each minute!!

LOVE IT!!!!
As always, the pictures are adorable. But the narration - you had me cracking up. Very very clever!
HA HA!
Oh my gosh! This was SO funny!
That picture of Michael and Peter made me laugh SO hard! That is such a funny picture!
I love his hair! Although, I remember when I thought the receding hairline was cute. Ha Ha.
I can't imagine baby Michael without his curly hair now.
Great post Kim! I loved this one!
photo credits to my sister Kathy for the Michael/Peter picture!
That is hilarious and cute all wrapped into one post. I love it! Very clever.
I can't believe how tiny he was in that first picture!! How could that possibly be only 10.5 months ago?
It seems like he has been *Michael* and looked like Michael (as he is now, curly hair and all) forever! I forgot about his receding hairline days -- those pictures are great!
I agree with Noree -- I can't picture him any other way than he is now!
Bravo!!
It is amazing how quickly his hair "style" changed from birth.
I too, must agree, the Michael/ Peter picture is priceless.
I was afraid that the final picture in this blog would show a hair trim, thankfully not yet.
As curly as his hair is getting, it would be interesting to see how curly it might get, especially on the top. I do understand that a hair trim may be coming sometime soon. Maybe you could keep the cut curls for a memory book.
Way too precious!
I love the hair history photos. It does not matter receding hairline to curls galore, Michael is just simply adorable.
This really made me smile today.
I miss him. Hope I get to see him soon.
