This Morning

I opened up the refrigerator to retrieve the maple syrup for the whole wheat pancakes I made. The syrup was in the door shelf a mere foot off the ground.  When I grabbed the bottle, it slipped and landed on the floor.


....and then it split in two.....

...and made a huge mess......

...and then the bottle taunted me.

(But the pancakes were delicious by the way).
