Yes. Him.
If I leave the wipes within his reach, he will obsessively grab one and wipe his hands, declaring, "Clean hands?" And then proceed to clean his hair, face, elbows...anywhere he can before I take it away.
I've also caught him wiping down bookshelves.
His little obsession with cleanliness, though, is most apparent at the dinner table, where he will point out, very bluntly I might add, if anyone (except for himself) is messy.
He'll just point out you (you know the way) and say "Mess!" or "Messy."
He always has a target when Matthew's at the table.

But, admittedly, I've been a victim too. (at least he'll be one of those people who don't let you go a whole dinner with something on your face because they didn't know how to tell you!)
He also insists on picking up every little crumb that may have falled on the table and insist: "Back?!" holding whatever little microscopic crumb in between his index and thumb for me to take from him. Most of the time, I can't even see what he is trying to put back.
I don't kwow where he got it from.
Certainly not from me.

Remember when you carved a pumpkin with Jack (and Thomas was probably about Matthew's age)? This post reminds me of how displeased Jack was with the mess of the pumpkin. I think he begged for baby wipes, too! :). Maybe it's just a weird stage some kids go through?
