Baby Michael is getting close to sitting on his own for several minutes...he tries to balance and if he feels himself tilting, he tries to correct himself and get back to the middle.
He also likes to lean up against the couch! His legs look so little!
He's becoming such a big boy. It's hard to believe that one day, he will be doing this on his own!

The first picture of him sitting there always struck me as kind of funny...I couldn't think of what it was until I was in Mass today, and I thought that picture just looks like a "heap of baby" with a head on top.
I think it describes it well.

Adorable!! Somehow babies always seem to look so much older to me when they can sit up on their own. I can't believe Michael can support his own weight like that on his legs -- he's doing so well!
His legs do look so little -- he looks almost oompa-loompa-esque!! (but way cuter and without the orange skin and green hair) :).
It was so cute to see Michael standing by the couch. Seeing these pictures of him sitting up and standing are priceless. I don't think he looks like a baby blob, to me, he looks like he is thinking "watch out world, here I come".
